What is Block explorer?
A site that shows the raw contents of a chain: transactions, addresses and contracts.
An explorer is the chain's public record. You can check whether a transaction settled, what a contract does and where a wallet's funds came from.
It is the primary source when a project's claims and its on-chain behaviour disagree. The chain is the version that cannot be edited.
