What is Gas fee?
The fee paid to have a transaction included in a block; priced by network demand.
Every transaction pays for computation. On Ethereum the price is set by a base fee plus a tip, so costs spike when blocks are full.
Gas is a cost of using the chain, not a cost of holding the asset. High fees push small users toward other chains and layer-2s.
