What is Resistance?
A price area where selling has repeatedly capped rallies.
Resistance is the mirror of support: supply that appears at a level because sellers are waiting there. Old highs are the most-watched examples.
Broken resistance often becomes support, because the buyers who missed the first move wait to buy on a retest.
