What is Non-custodial wallet?
A wallet where you hold the keys and nobody can freeze or recover your funds.
Self-custody means the seed phrase is the only recovery path. That is real control, and a real responsibility: lost keys are lost funds, permanently.
Most security failures in crypto are self-inflicted in exactly this way — a seed phrase typed into the wrong site, or lost in a house move.
