What is Institutional flow?
Buying or selling by funds and companies, usually visible only through filings and ETFs.
Large allocations change supply more than a retail wave, and they are reported with a lag: quarterly filings, ETF creation data, treasury announcements.
The lag is why this is context rather than a signal. By the time a filing appears, the trade is old.
