What is Altcoin?
Any crypto asset other than Bitcoin; a broad label rather than a shared design.
Altcoin covers everything that is not Bitcoin, from large smart-contract platforms to a token launched last week. Treating the group as one thing hides most of what matters.
Coin pages rank and forecast coins individually; the category pages group them by function (layer 1, DeFi, meme and so on) so a comparison is at least meaningful.
